Singing duo MamuZEE TwiNs were attacked by armed robbers on Gwagwalada road, in Abuja yesterday April 22nd while returning from the immigration office. The gunmen, believed to be armed robbers, shot at them and shattered their car.

The Twins are currently at the hospital now, but are said to be doing fine and will return home today. Thank God they are fine. Another pic after the cut...

Life in Port Harcourt City...The Morning Rush

Port Harcourt city , famously known as the garden city has gradually turned into the garbage city, speaking of the traffic in the city as Aba road is the only major express road in the city, which has brought about the constant traffic jam between 6:30am up until 12noon , then it starts again at 3:30pm till when it decides to have mercy and go to bed.
The morning rush in Port Harcourt city has turned into that of Lagos, where you resume work at 8 O’clock but have to get up at 4am just so that you can beat the traffic and get to work hopefully at 7:30am, imagine.
My experience about the morning rush actually starts with my alarm clock sounding at 5am, ah trust me now, I give my self extra time despite the blaring sound. I wake up finally at 5:20am, while I am praying I always mention the traffic situation, yes I actually do because it requires prayers , some days could be worse where the traffic moves 1metre after 10mins wait, then 1 meter again after another 5mins slowly like that, then you are in for it when you have just 30mins to make it to work. someone  will be wondering why I include traffic in my prayers , simple, to avoid grammar while I have to get to work, like someone hitting my car or I having to hit someone’s car.
If you use the ABA/PH  express road regularly then you have an idea of what am talking about, the craze starts from the Oil mill bus-stop with the irritating transport commuters who have refused to be reasonable. They stop at will to pick passengers, without even minding that there are other road users, this is common with the bus drivers , they are ready to insult you to the last if you talk, they are in more rush than you and I. Now the well dressed ” I am a manger” the guy with suit and tie in his kia jeep is no exception , Ha! they actually drop there manners at home for the time being , I mean the road is actually a battle field in the morning, come and see cursing and swearing, I am no exception O !, because your fellow human being just makes life and driving frustrating for you, from swerving and changing lanes at will without caution to protecting your lane so that no one enters in front of you, its really crazy. By the time you get to work you are already sapped out  a little by the driving menace.
In the process of all this I still find some things humorous, like the guy in his suit and tie with another guy just like him who had a collision, oya now come and see grammar and posing, you will hear words like “do you know who I am ”…
Its actually disturbing and at the same time a funny morning rush in Port Harcourt city. It came to my understanding (from my a reliable source) that some guys now hustle at the traffic post, pretending to be police officials on coloured clothes. They lay in wait for a JJC to beat traffic then they surround your car, where the doors are open , they jump into your car , my dear you don become their maga. I hope nemesis will catch up with them

No matter what it is I still love port Harcourt  city, there is no place

Fugitive charged with 1981 murder found serving as Texas church deacon

Wonders shall never seize as long as the world is in existence, just how much do you know?

 

(CNN) -- You can run, the saying goes.

Joseph Lewis Miller spent more than 33 years hiding, ducking police for a murder charge out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, according to a statement from U.S. Marshal Martin Pane.

Now 78, Miller was arrested Monday in Mineola, Texas, where he was living under the alias Roy Eugene Eubanks and serving as a deacon at a church, the statement said. A 1981 arrest warrant charges Miller with murder, committing crimes with a firearm, being a convict in possession of a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license.

Harrisburg police accused Miller of killing Thomas Waller in a parking lot adjacent to a hotel in January 1981.

"The murder occurred more than three decades ago, and while this case presented us with a significant challenge it also exemplifies the dedication, thoroughness and diligence the fugitive task force has toward cold cases," Pane said.

This wasn't the first time Miller was charged with murder.

Miller pleaded guilty to killing John H. Lumpkins in Harrisburg in 1960, and throughout that decade, Pane said, Miller applied to have his sentence commuted, a request that was granted with lifetime state parole in 1971.

Ten years later, Miller became a fugitive after Waller's death. Recently, the U.S. Marshals Service developed information on a Roy Eugene Eubanks in East Texas, the Marshals Service said.

"Working with photographs more than three decades old, Marshals believed the man named Roy Eugene Eubanks was indeed Joseph Lewis Miller," the statement said.

Authorities put an East Texas home under surveillance Monday and soon saw a man believed to be Miller. They arrested him without incident and recovered a firearm from the home, the statement said.

"The individual admitted his true identity as Joseph Lewis Miller. He was married and a deacon in his local church," according to U.S. marshals.

Using his alias, Miller had been receiving Social Security disability benefits for more than two decades, the statement said.

He is now in custody in Wood County, Texas, where he awaits court proceedings.

"It is my sincere hope that the victims' family and the surviving victim can and will rest easier knowing the alleged perpetrator is now in custody," Pane said in the statement.

Recall that Jude Okoye, the older brother and Manager of P-square revealed the major break-up rumour a few days ago.
He took to his Twitter page to state that, “After over 10 years of hard work, it’s over. (I) Am done.”

Ever since, series of reports have emerged online with claims that the Alingo superstars have parted ways and shared their property.

        Love is inevitable…

Different people seek love differently and almost always, we are often saddled with the baggage that  comes with love, from heart breaks to disappointments and then regrets. However we never stop believing in love, even if we lie to ourselves that we are done with love. Some folks are quite blessed to actually find love and get it at least enough to last and carry them along. Whatever the case may be humans are destined to sought after love, it could be love from family , a friend or a spouse.
Concentrating on love between two adults of the opposite sex. We all at one point in our lives needs someone to hold on to, to share our dreams and aspirations with, someone to stand by us , we are willing to share our deepest thoughts & feelings  with that special one, hoping that they  won’t use it against us in the future, however it always doesn’t turn out the way we plan hence the negative reaction when love is mentioned. Suffice it to say that women are usually at the receiving end of love, we give a little too much when we love someone sincerely and when we aren’t getting it turn we feel betrayed, neglected and bitter, hence most women take to feminism to console and protect themselves . We should always look before we leap, though we can’t be careful enough.
Back to love issue, good loving is all that humans sought after, to be accepted by the society, by family and spouse.  To love and be loved in turn actually makes live a lot easier, not that it takes away the challenges of life but it gives you hope knowing that you have someone to support you all the way through it all.


A lot of people misplace this word love, we assume we are in love with someone while we are only lusting or being infatuated over that person. When you love someone because he or she looks in a particular way you like, or talk the way you like or are successful in their careers perhaps that’s not love but mere lust and infatuation in m y own opinion. You should be able to like someone from the inside, see beyond the physical looks or qualities because with time those things might wade off and when they do ..you know the rest. But when you choose someone you love from your heart, you accept them as they are, loving them without any clause attached.

I have a friend who is named ”love” ,  while discussing relationships and the issue of love comes up, she goes ” please people should spare my name” and that actually gets me laughing.
I am really not in the best disposition to tell you what love is and should be. But I do know love isn’t supposed to be easy , it isn’t supposed to be hard neither…Perhaps LOVE is supposed to be worth it.
